Départs : Corey Chavous et Brian Williams.

Arrivés : Ryan Longwell, Ben Leber, Chester Taylor.

Leber et Taylor ne sont pas de grosses signatures et soulèvent bien des interrogations. Leber, comme les autres linebackers des vikings, va tomber encore plus dans l'anonymat maintenant. Taylor devrait dès maintenant démarcher les autres clubs lui-même à la recherche de gros gars pour lui ouvrir des brèches sinon

Heureusement pour lui, la signature de Steve Hutchinson devrait lui remonter le moral. Reste plus qu'à attendre la décision de Seattle. Ce serait bien de l'avoir ce gars !

Moi je trouve que c'est une tres bonne affaire pour un gars qui aura fait plus de mauvaises saisons que de bonnes à Minnesota et qui a été souvent blessé.

On aurait pu recevoir un 1er tour ou 1 joueur de compensation avec les 2eme tour...

"He's won a Super Bowl," McKinnie said of Johnson. "I have confidence in Brad, but I'm not going to say for the next three years." Smoot said Johnson has the experience and talent to thrive as the Vikings' starter, especially in head coach Brad Childress' new West Coast offense. Last week, Vikings owner Zygi Wilf told the St. Paul Pioneer Press that he has no reservations about starting Johnson. But he added that he would leave decisions to the "professionals."

Le staff s'est débarrassé de lui tout simplement. Plus de mauvaises saisons que de bonnes c'est limite quand même. En plus, Daunte Culpepper a des stats impressionnantes dans plusieurs catégories qui prouvent bien que les vikings ont bradé un très bon QB. Le seul reproche qu'on pourrait lui faire c'est au sujet de ses (private joke) "flambeul"

Il ne récolte que ce qu'il a semé: s'il n'avait pas laché Randy, il aurait et son gros contrat et à sa place chez nous. Môssieur a annoncé que c'était son équipe et qu'il était pret à assumer le rôle de leader.
Résultat: qq. matchs de merde puis grosse blessure => il a échoué => Dehors.

Le FB Richardson vient visiter les vikings.... Si on arrive a le signer sa donnerait 1 grand plus pour le run !!

Belle signature ce Tank Williams. Pour moi, derrière Bulluck, c'était le meilleur défenseur des Titans. En plus, ça fait enfin perdre quelque chose à Tennessee...

Franchement c est 1 excellente arrivée !! Tank est 1 joueur complet et tres performant contre la course.... Il remplace de loin Chavous.... C est juste dommage pour Offord qui méritait peut etre d avoir sa place cette année...

Sinon la venue de Mcmahon me rassure 1 peu mais bon c'est quand meme pas le top mais c est deja sa...

Il semblerait que les Vikings en ait fini avec la Free Agency. Maintenant place à la draft. Alors pour résumer :

Robinson - resigné

Longwell - kicker

Richardson - Un très bon fullback.

Hutchinson - Top Guard

Whittle - pour la profondeur

Rosenthal - resigné

Williams- Bon Safety, gros gabarit.

Taylor - la mort pour the SOD

Dequincy Scott - Profondeur

Ben Leber - pfff

McMahon - Il connait le système bla bla, juste un back-up quoi !

La draft servira à combler les trous laissés aux postes de LB (un playmaker serait parfait), QB (du futur), OL et peut-être DB pour la profondeur.

Fais chié !! Burleson a signé chez les seahawks !! Sa donne comme corps de WR Robinson, Williamson, Taylor.... Sa me fou vraiment les boules !!

Je pense que les Vikings laisseront partir Burleson. Personnellement, ça me fait ni chaud ni froid qu'il s'en aille. Et ce sera bien de voir l'évolution de Koren Robinson et Nate Burleson au fil des années.
