J'ai lu que son contrat valait plutôt 1.75M$, rien de garanti. De toute façon il est payé 4M$ au final, les Eagles couvrent la différence... En tous cas c'est fou de le voir signé si bas, mais avec les deux saisons qu'il vient de faire, il pouvait pas demander beaucoup plus... Point marrant, les Eagles lui ont fait une offre à la baisse avant de le cutter, et comme il avait déjà 4M$ garantis, je ne peux pas croire que les Eagles n'aient pas proposé au moins 4.5M$...

En tous cas, je suis vraiment intéressé de voir ce qu'il va faire. Il aura quand même été une grosse désillusion cette saison, en se faisant bouffer en vitesse de pointe et horrible en tacles la plupart du temps. Même en couverture, il s'est fait méchamment bouffer sur des TD, et était toujours enclin à regarder le safety comme si c'était de sa faute, là où le All-22 montre le contraire quelques jours plus tard... Vous verrez qu'il parle très bien dans les médias, mais apparemment, il n'était pas vraiment apprécié dans le vestiaire. Il était bon en 2011, même si pas au niveau qu'on le payait. S'il revient à ce niveau, c'est un très bon investissement. S'il continue sur la lancée de 2012, bon courage. Pour vous donner un petit résumé en images:

Encore 2 gros matchs pour démarrer la saison... 3 même si on compte les Colts. 4 playoff teams sur les 5 premières semaines, heureusement qu'après, c'est plus light.

Alors tu as deux choix, si tu veux te rassurer ou te faire peur. Si tu veux te rassurer, ne regarde pas celle de la saison passée mais la précédente. Avec Claiborne et Matthieu autour, il était au top.

J'aime bien ce choix, même si je pense qu'on aurait pu le prendre un peu plus bas. Mais les Cowboys n'ont pas facturé bien cher pour monter autant. C'est un remplacement poste pour poste pour le coup, c'est un Goldson en plus rapide.

Grade: YEAH!

Round 2, Pick 8: Cornellius Carradine (DE, Florida St)

Bon choix rien à dire. En passant, on escroque gentillement les Titans qui paient plus cher que les Niners pour monter de 6 picks. Puis ça fait un remplacement éventuel à Justin Smith plus tard.

Grade: OH FREAKING YEAH! Les Titans :

Round 2, Pick 23: Vance McDonald (TE, Rice)

Encore un bon choix, surtout que Baalke n'a fait que lire ma mock j'en suis sûr! Sinon encore une fois, il s'agit d'un need qui est couvert.

Grade: Good job!

Round 3, Pick 26: Corey Lemonier (DE, Auburn)

Bon choix aussi. Je pense qu'on le fera jouer en OLB pour faire respirer Aldon Smith ou Ahmad Brooks.



Grade: YEAH!

Round 4, Pick 31: Quinton Patton (WR, Louisiana Tech)

Pas mal. Je me dis effectivement qu'on peut avoir besoin d'aide sur ce secteur. Maintenant, je ne suis pas super convaincu. On va dire que c'est un slot receiver, rien de plus au vu du gabarit.

Grade: Meh

Round 4, Pick 34: Marcus Lattimore (RB, South Carolina)

Si son genou peut revenir en bon état, là je dis YAY! On tient peut être là notre futur Gore. Gore était tombé au 3e tour en 2005 à cause de son genou. Et ce genre de blessure n'a pas empêché Willis McGahee de se faire drafter au 1er tour.

Grade: Yeah

Round 5, Pick 24: Quinton Dial (DE, Alabama)

Pas mal. Il va venir jouer sur la ligne, on a toujours besoin d'aide à ce niveau là.

Grade: Meh

Round 6, Pick 12: Nick Moody (OLB, Florida St)

Faudra passer le cut, ça commence à être rempli ce poste.

Grade: Meh

Round 7, Pick 31: B.J. Daniels (QB, South Florida)

Un bras pour les training camps.

Round 7, Pick 40: Carter Bykowski (OT, Iowa St)

Un need d'une certaine façon, on manque d'un OT backup.

Round 7, Pick 46: Marcus Cooper (CB, Rutgers)

Devrait trouver sa place en ST parce que connu comme hard hitter. Il nous manque un ace (parce que sérieux Harvey Dahl?). Pourra pousser pour du temps de jeu en safety.

UDFA:
Lawrence Okoye (ATH, England): Je ne connais que celui là. Un lanceur de disques anglais de niveau olympique qui s'essaie au football. Il a sorti de beaux chiffres au super regional combine. Sera formé par l'un des meilleurs (on le voit comme DE) et sur le practice squad.

Pardonnez ma question de jeune candide, mais pourquoi drafter autant de DEs, au 2éme, 3éme et 5ème tours ?
Aller chercher du DB n'aurait pas servi sur l'un de ces tours ?

Comme je l'avais dit un peu avant la draft, je vais suivre avec attention l'avenir de ces rookies et de ceux de 2012. Ca commence à boucher dans le roster des Niners...

D'ailleurs, je n'ai pas suivi de près leur draft. Hormis le trade up pour Reid, il y a eu d'autres trades? Ils ont récupéré des picks de 2014?

Y'a eu un trade down (ou plus j'ai pas tout suivi) qui a récupéré un 3e des Titans la saison prochaine.

Sinon pour la question de GRBS sur l'afflux de DE, on est léger sur ce poste, d'où cette draft.
Et puis si tu prends les Giants, ils ont eu des DB relativement moyens (hello Gibril Wilson, Aaron Ross) qui sont couverts par un pass rush monstrueux.

non, mais faut pas confondre tout, non plus.
Le mec est surement une tête de con mais le joueur apporte beaucoup.

Il m'a gonflé grave quand il a fait son holdout

Il a fait deux saisons moyennes

il a progressé sans cesse

il a explosé l'an dernier

Il est clair que la connexion Kaep/Crab fonctionne bien.
Son absence va surement donner des ballons supplémentaires à VD, je pense

pour ce qui est de son contrat, pour moi, il était quasi acquis qu'il serait ailleurs à l'issue car je pense que ses exigences seront au delà de ce que le FO peut/veut donner.
Effectivement, cette blessure peut, peut être, nous permettre de le resigner pour moins cher,mais je n'y crois guère

Par ailleurs, quand on voit ce qu'il reste en WR FA, à part devery henderson, je ne vois pas grand chose pour le remplacer. Il n'y a plus qu'à espérer que Boldin n'est pas cramé, que AJ Jenkins se sorte les doigts et que Patton soit la révélation de la saison....
