With the 24th pick, the Dallas Cowboys selects OT Trevor Penning (Northern Iowa)



Dallas pourrait aller sur de la OL, WR, DT ou S

Mais retour au basique, avec Make Cowboys OL Great Again.

Penning est un punisher, je le vois bien en RT ouvrir des lignes pour Elliott et avec Smith et Martin à 31 ans, il faut commencer à préparer l'avenir

With the 25th pick, the Buffalo Bills selects CB Kaiir Elam (Florida)



Si les Bills ont moyen de récupérer un WR, ils devraient le faire, mais il ne restait aucun WR digne d'un 1er tour.

Je vais sur un CB, même si la défense aérienne a été bonne l'an dernière, il faut remplacer Levi Wallace dans la rotation

Pour le coup, ce pick a de bonnes chance d'arriver.

Le poste de LG est vacant.
le type a fait des interviews avec Vrabel et le GM
Son style est parfait pour le système Henry.

A l'approche de la draft, les principaux postes à améliorer sont TE, DT et OG,voir EDGE

Le meilleur joueur restant dans ses positions est Devonte Wyatt.

Mais avec Brady qui vient de libérer 9M$ de cap, on pourrait revoir du Gronk, Suh et/ou JPP, ce qui pourrait changer les plans de la draft.

Strengths:

Austrian-born lineman with great athleticism as a former tight end. Committed to putting in the work to improve. Does a good job of moving his feet once engaged and sealing blocks. Calm in pass protection and does not abandon technique. Drives his feet on contact. Strong upper body.

Weaknesses:

Will turn 25 years old during his rookie season. Strength can give him problems because he does not sink his hips enough. Pad level is high at times and that creates some leverage issues. Below-average arm

With the 29th pick, the Kansas City Chiefs selects
Skyy Moore WR Western Michigan


Strengths:

Eye-popping traits galore. Efficient and lightning-quick off the line. Feet and hands work in unison to easily free him from press in almost every situation. Elite-level explosion out of his stance. Sharp cuts in his routes. Flashes of physicality after the catch but is mostly good there due to his suddenness. Speed will get him open deep; not a track star but close. Tracks it naturally down the field, will make difficult grabs outside his frame/diving for the ball.

Weaknesses:

A few drops on film on easy throws. Played against lesser competition in the MAC.

Avec le départ de Hill, le ciel est sa limite!

Jalen Pitre DB Baylor



Strengths:

Modern-day safety/slot defender hybrid. Ultra twitched up. Utilized often as a blitzer and was effective in doing so. Fast but under control and incredibly bendy around the corner. Flattened to the QB/RB whenever necessary. Hips are loose, feet like feathers. Reads plays in a hurry. More nickel CB than traditional safety. Plays bigger because of his authoritative nature on the field, but not super tiny. Often ran routes for wideouts and made plays on the football when given an opportunity. Chippy against the run. Major range and hustle. A defensive back every team should want in its secondary.

Weaknesses:

Was allowed to play in free-roaming role at Baylor, unlikely to be given that much freedom initially in the NFL. Slightly slender frame than most safeties and didn't have high-level productivity in coverage. He's best when he's ranging sideline to sideline or flying downhill. Would rather have his strengths be flowing in coverage.

Avec le 31ème choix, les Cincinnati Bengals choisissent C - Tyler Linderbaum - Iowa




Dans notre mock, Linderbaum est donc dispo, logiquement, je ne résiste pas à l'idée d'avoir un Centre titulaire qui permet de compléter la OLine et de garder Karras en Guard.

Cela dit, je pense que Linderbaum sera parti bien avant les Bengals,
du coup, j'avoue que pour moi, je reste sur l'idée d'un trade down.
Sinon, je mets un petit billet sur un DT (on attend là un CB, pourquoi McCreary) comme Demarvin Leal de Texas A&M. On l'a vu la saison dernière un vraie bonne DL, ça a changé la défense.

Strengths:

Plus mobility to extend the play when it breaks down. Extensive experience and strong leadership. Capable of throwing with touch. Great top-end speed and athleticism. Throws with anticipation.

Weaknesses:

Inconsistent accuracy to all three levels. Average arm strength. Decision making is very spotty. Gets stuck on his first read too often. Footwork in the pocket needs to become more consistent.

Goff n'est pas le choix à long terme, le 3eme QB du 1st round pour finir cette mock 2k22!
