DeMeco Ryans is a very intelligent linebacker who does a good job of reading and reacting to what the offense is doing. He possesses the athleticism you look for in a linebacker, has good change of direction ability and can make plays sideline to sideline. His speed allows him to effectively cover most tight ends and running backs coming out of the backfield. He has the ability to get into the backfield and chase the running back down from behind. DeMeco is always quick to get to the football due to his quick first step and the fact that he takes good angles to the ballcarrier. He displays good overall technique and is a fundamentally sound tackler. To have the same kind of success at the next level, DeMeco may need to bulk up some and increase his strength. Increasing his strength should improve his ability to shed blockers. In college he ran around too many blocks. He needs to be stronger at the point of attack in the NFL. DeMeco is an excellent football player and a high character guy as well. He should easily be a first day pick with the potential to move into the first round with good workouts.

Positives:
He can make all the blocks! A devastating run blocker that blows defenders backwards. Has been a star on the offensive line the past three years, making 21 straight starts. This center will make all the calls before the snap and allow the line to play as a cohesive unit. He has the desired size you look for in a lineman, and even better, he has that nasty streak you look for.

Negatives:
Pass blocking is not where Nick excels, but he does an adequate job of it. He tends not to play to his potential at times, but when he plays full throttle, watch out. His size is good but tends to get out of his stance too slow, which will give him trouble with quick defensive tackles.

Overview:
A middle round pick that has great potential. He will not start right away but if he could learn behind a great mentor, then the sky is the limit. His offensive line coach praises him and the Buckeyes have had a great tradition of offensive lineman.

A big play threat who can take it the distance from any point on the field...Has been extremely productive at the college level...Patient runner with excellent vision and instincts...Does a good job of following his blockers...Explosive with a strong lower body and the ability to break tackles...Has an extra gear and is much faster than his forty time would lead you to believe...Can also return kicks.

Weaknesses:
Doesn't have the size you would like to see in a feature back...Hands are questionable at best and he was not used much as a receiver in college...Isn't a physical runner and prefers to shy away from contact...Plays in a system that is conducive to running backs producing big numbers...Didn't carry the load until the '05 season after splitting time with Marion Barber III...Hails from a program known for great college runners who failed to make much of an impact in the pros.

Notes:
A prolific college running back who might not be quite the pro prospect his press clippings would lead you to believe...There is a lot to like about this guy, but when you factor in his size, receiving abilities and the system he plays in there are certainly some things that will concern you as well...Let the buyer beware.

Pros: Speedy corner who is faster than most 6 foot cornerbacks. He's got excellent cover skills and has improved at every level. Has fared well against some outstanding receivers. Great hip turn with top agility and athleticism.
Cons: Jennings sometimes relies too much on his speed. He needs to learn to become more physical. Pretty frale for his size, and weighed in as the lightest person at the combine.

After years of underachieving the Seahawks finally took that next step in 2005 and even made the Super Bowl before ultimately losing to the Steelers. Even though they played in the big game that doesn't mean they don't have needs and one of the biggest is at cornerback. They are solid at one spot with youngster Marcus Trufant but outside of that they lack a lot of quality and the depth leaves a lot to be desired. Cons: Doesn't have top end speed and struggles in agility drills, has excelled against weaker competition. Just needs to get better in general with experience, still a bit raw.
