Jun. 28 - According to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel, the Dolphins have asked Law to meet with them for the second time this offseason, but he seemed reluctant to do so because of the team's apparent financial boundaries.
The Chiefs, who lost cornerback Julian Battle for the season with a ruptured Achilles tendon, remain in the picture, the Kansas City Star reports.
The Jaguars had Law in for a workout on Thursday, the Florida Times-Union reports. The free agent cornerback, who was cut by the Patriots after last season, is just starting to make cuts after more than a month of running on his surgically repaired foot.
"We had a good visit and we'll continue to monitor the situation,'' Coach Jack Del Rio said.
According to ESPN.com's John Clayton, the Bucs are interested but can't do much better than a minimum salary offer. The Lions remain interested in Law, who is coming off a broken foot that kept him out of the final 12 games of 2004, including the Patriots' Super Bowl victor, the Detroit News reports. According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, Browns' coach Romeo Crennel would like to bring the four-time Pro Bowl defender in for a visit.
