Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Empty
MessageSujet: Re: Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks   Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks EmptyVen 25 Mar - 8:25

With the 1st pick on the 2016 NFL Draft,

Tennessee Titans selects : Jalen Ramsey
Florida State
6.1 - 209 lbs

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Ramsey600-022816

Mode d'emploi

Bah pourquoi?

OT LAREMY TUNSIL from Ole Miss.

*boooooo dans la salle*

Jon Gruden : it's a wonderful pick for the Cleveland Browns, probably the best tackle of the year. He reminds me of Joe Thomas with his technique, they will have the best pair of tackles in the league after losing Schwartz to the Chiefs.

Mel Kiper : are you kidding me? The Browns need a quarterback and they are going tackle? I understand they have been depleted during the off season, but when you have the next Tony Romo available, you should pick him right away! Who are you going to start? RG3?

With the 3rd pick of the NFL 2016 Draft, San Diego Chargers selects :
DE DeForest Buckner (Oregon) - 6'7 - 291

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Deforest-buckner-848a5a323d138081

[th]YEAR[/th][th]GP[/th][th]TKL[/th][th]TFL[/th][th]SACK[/th]
2012 13 29 2.5 1.0
2013 13 39 3.5 2.5
2014 15 81 13.0 4.0
2015 13 83 17.0 10.5
Totals5423236.018.0

RB Ezekiel Elliott (Ohio State) - 6'0 - 225

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Ezekiel-elliott_13itt6w2x3ttr1mz2489pydrk0

Citation :

STRENGTHS

Elite combination of vision and decisiveness. Instinctive, short strider with instant reaction time. Has a bona fide jump-cut to elude penetration in the backfield and enough burst to elude chasers when he bounces runs to the outside. Able to change directions with no hesitation or wasted motion and is always headed forward. Has innate feel for developing blocks in space and is excellent at setting his blocks up and accelerating from behind them when the linebacker is trapped. When it's gridlocked inside, finds yards on his own. Rocked up physique but still maintains loose hips for agility. Exceptional balance through contact and takes tacklers for a ride. Has a "come at me, bro!" mentality as a runner. Loves to end runs on his physical terms. Uses lead shoulder as a weapon, but plays with outstanding ball security. Looks to absolutely bludgeon defenders as a lead blocker and is often successful. Able pass catcher who adjusts to throws and can do something with it after the catch.

WEAKNESSES

Strapped it up with a heavy workload over last two seasons including over 600 touches. Defenders land big shots on him. Appears to be too willing to put himself through the meat grinder rather than avoiding certain collisions. Understanding when to attack and when to elude may take time for him. Can sharpen his pass routes a bit and has room for improvement as a pass blocker. On second level, gets on top of defenders before he has a chance to gather himself into a position to evade a tackle. Questions arose about his maturity after complaining about lack of carries in Michigan State game.

NFL COMPARISON

 Edgerrin James

BOTTOM LINE

Elite, three-down running back who has the ability to excel in every facet of the game. Elliott has rare combination of size, athleticism, pass-catching and blocking skills and his competitive nature is always bubbling on the surface. While he's had to handle a heavy workload over the last two seasons, Elliot should still come out of the gates as one of the most productive young running backs in the league.

With the 5th pick of the NFL 2016 Draft, the Jacksonville Jaguars selects :

Myles Jack, LB, UCLA

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Myles-jack-1

6'1 / 245 lbs

CBS Sports a écrit:
STRENGTHS: Even on a team full of NFL prospects, Jack's pure athleticism stood out. Compactly-built with good overall musculature, light feet, a fluid turning motion and natural ball-skills, he could make the full-time switch to running back and earn early-round consideration. Given his impact ability on defense, however, teams may hesitate to do that.
Jack is well-suited to today's pass-happy NFL as he combines rare agility and speed with awareness in coverage. He has the fluidity to cover backs and tight ends step for step and anticipates routes well, breaking free from his assignment to close quickly on the ball. Jack's ability in coverage make him ideally suited to playing outside in a 4-3 scheme, where his lack of ideal size is mitigated.

Jack's burst and agility make him an effective edge rusher and he doesn't shy from contact. He shows an explosive pop on contact to break free from would-be blockers. The hand-eye coordination that makes him so effective in breaking up passes shows up in his tackling, as well, as Jack is consistently able to trip up smaller, quicker ballcarriers. Breaks down well and wraps securely for the reliable take-down with little to no yardage allowed after contact.

WEAKNESSES: Lacks ideal size at linebacker. Does not possess ideal length and can get caught up in the wash. Not an explosive hitter.

Will need to prove the health of his season-ending knee injury that required surgery and will be limited in his ability to impress scouts on the field during the pre-draft period.STRENGTHS: Even on a team full of NFL prospects, Jack's pure athleticism stood out. COMPARES TO: NaVorro Bowman, San Francisco 49ers - When healthy, Bowman is one of the most talented and versatile linebackers in the NFL and Jack has that type of potential if his knee comes back strong post-surgery.

IN OUR VIEW: An athletic specimen with above-average pursuit speed, contact balance and mental processor to know everything going on around him, Jack has the athletic skill set to be a difference-maker.

* réaction immédiate sur Twitter: @CassieBaalke: you bunch of losers don't know what football is. This is da best pick for the team

Jon Gruden : wow, awesome pick for Chip Kelly. Carson is a superb fit for his offense, he is athletic, accurate and can run with the ball. Possibly the best quarterback of the draft.

Mel Kiper : S-T-E-A-L of the draft! If you look at my flawless Mel's big board (c), he is my best rated quarterback prospect this year. He will be the rookie of the year!

With the 8th pick of the NFL 2016 Draft, The Philadelphia Eagles select :
CB Vernon Hargreaves (Florida) - 5'10 - 204

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks 19387085-mmmain

Citation :

STRENGTHS
Premier, quick twitch athlete with explosion pulsing through his hips and feet. Instant click-and-close action to explode forward and attack the throw. Vertical springs to go up and over receivers at the high point. Smooth, controlled backpedal with ability to weave and mirror route progressions. Plays with outstanding body control and balance. Feet are electric. Can overwhelm lesser opponents across from him. Instinctive and urgent in his play. Excels from press, off or zone coverage. Fiery competitor with a strong desire to own the pass. Has quick, soft hands. Posted 38 passes defensed and 10 interceptions over last three years. Could see early kick or punt return action. Unwilling to stay blocked and doesn't hesitate for one moment in run support and against wide receiver screens. Chest-up tackler who runs through his target.
WEAKNESSES
Lean, wiry frame. Aggressive nature allows teams to bait him with double moves. Quicker than fast and doesn't have closing speed to make mistakes underneath and still recover on top. Allowed 16.5 yards per completion this season. Scouts worry about his height outside. Big receivers will pose a challenge on the next level. Had his two worst games of the season in SEC Championship game against Alabama and Citrus Bowl against Michigan. Willingness to throw body around in run support could cause him to break down.
NFL COMPARISON
 Joe Haden
BOTTOM LINE
While scouts have voiced some concerns about Hargreaves' size and recovery speed, you won't find anyone who doesn't admire his competitiveness and consistency of production. Hargreaves has a level of suddenness and explosiveness in his movements that should always have him near the ball. With top-notch ball skills and exceptional instincts that drew praise from Alabama's Nick Saban, Hargreaves possesses the football makeup to become a Pro Bowl cornerback.

Goff, Hargreaves, Goff, Hargreaves, Goff, Hargreaves...

With the 9th pick of the NFL 2016 Draft, The Tampa Bay Buccaneers select :
DE Joey Bosa (Ohio State) - 6'5 - 269lbs

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks 1228-bosa

[th]YEAR[/th][th]GP[/th][th]TKL[/th][th]TFL[/th][th]SACK[/th]
2013 14 44 13.5 7.5
2014 15 55 21.0 13.5
2015 12 51 16.0 5.0
Totals4115050.526.0

STRENGTHS: Excellent core strength with a NFL body at a young age. Flexible athlete and doesn't play tight. Bosa has an explosive get-off which helps him generate an immediate advantage over offensive tackles. Better yet, he possesses terrific upper body strength and technically-refined hand usage.
Controls his momentum very well with excellent break down skills to collect himself and make plays in space. Strong hands and wrists to be a reliable striker and finisher.
Natural lateral quickness to sidestep blockers with athletic swim moves to step outside and swat inside. Good initial quickness for his size, staying low and generating an immediate push. Heavy-handed and uses his full extension to put blockers on skates. Natural knee bend at the point of attack, using his limbs to work off blocks and mirror the ballcarrier.
Very disciplined and rarely loses contain, leveraging the edge and keeping his vision in the backfield. Rarely fooled with terrific secondary quickness, not taking himself out of plays due to hustle and ball awareness. Active on stunts with experience lining up inside and outside - proven threat anywhere in the front-seven.
High degree of toughness with an understanding of what it takes to be great. Football bloodlines as the son of a three-year NFL veteran.
WEAKNESSES: Not as quick as some of the NFL's elite edge rushers. Not a quick-twitch rusher and doesn't play with consistent explosion. Needs to improve his inside shoulder dip to leverage his body into blockers around the edge.
Room to improve his gap integrity and pre-snap anticipation. Will misread plays at times and crash down, leading him to be too reactionary on plays following a mistake, cautious of making another one.
COMPARES TO: Jared Allen, DE, Panthers - The popular comparison for Bosa will be J.J. Watt, but Allen makes more sense because of their strengths on the football field. And not the current, over-the-hill version of Allen, but the double-digit sack artist and five-time Pro Bowler that played in Kansas City and Minnesota.
IN OUR VIEW: Bosa is very physically gifted, but even better, he knows how to use those gifts, and works his tail off to maximize his potential. He might never be a consistent double-digit sack artist in the NFL, but he is scheme versatile with the power, athleticism and instinctive traits to disrupt the pocket.

With the 10th pick of the NFL 2016 Draft, The New York Giants select :
 WR LAQUON TREADWELL (Mississippi)
- 6'2 - 221

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks 010116-CFB-Laquon-Treadwell-LN-PI.vresize.1200.675.high.14

Citation :

STRENGTHS
Good height and overall length. Smart receiver with a competitive edge when the ball is in the air. Catch- winner. Has a natural feel for the nuances of the position. Has feel for defender and is careful to work back to throws while shielding cornerbacks from the ball. Hands catcher with adequate body control who can climb the ladder and high point catches over defenders. Truly shines with ball-tracking skills and rarely gives away location of the ball with early movements when racing downfield against cornerbacks. Has subtle shiftiness in his routes thanks to his clean footwork. Can stagger and stutter feet while still working through his routes. Zone eater who has great understanding of positioning in space and giving his quarterback cleanest throw possible. Uses quality stiffarm after the catch for additional ?RAC? yards. Willing to block, but has size and temperament to become much better at it.
WEAKNESSES
Doesn't have the cushion-eating, vertical speed to scare cornerbacks. Cornerbacks will crowd his underneath routes from off-man coverage. Benefitted with several easy catches in space against zone coverage. Struggled to free himself from press coverage against LSU?s Tre?Davious White and may have separation issues in pros against quick cornerbacks. Takes time to gear down into breaks once he gets speed up. Could stand to be more physical in his release against press. Had more focus drops in 2015 than over previous two seasons. Suffered season-ending injury in November of 2014 with broken fibula and dislocated ankle.

SOURCES TELL US
"He's going to get beat up because he's slow but I like everything else he does. You would think scouts would learn about overestimating speed and underestimating tape. He'll go in the first but not sure how high." -- AFC Southeastern scout

NFL COMPARISON DeAndre Hopkins

BOTTOM LINE

Like DeAndre Hopkins, both players should be defined by their talent, ball skills and consistency of production over pure speed numbers. Treadwell is at his best when he has a clean, two-way go off the line of scrimmage and he could be a challenging size matchup from the slot. While Ole Miss used him underneath quite a bit, he runs quality downfield routes and has the ball skills needed to become a more vertical receiver than underneath, possession guy.

Mel Kiper : wow, what a shocker pick! They should have gone defense!

Jon Gruden : wow, awesome pick for the Bears. Jared is a superb fit for their offense, he is athletic, accurate and can run with the ball. Possibly the best quarterback of the draft.

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Empty
MessageSujet: Re: Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks   Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks EmptyMar 5 Avr - 0:30

With the 12th pick of the NFL 2016 Draft, The New Orleans Saints select :
DT Sheldon Rankins (Louisville) - 6'2 - 303lbs

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Gators-cardinals-sugar-bowl-590x900

[th]YEAR[/th][th]GP[/th][th]TKL[/th][th]TFL[/th][th]SACK[/th]
2012 9 7 1.0 1.0
2013 10 15 4.0 3.0
2014 13 54 14.5 9.0
2015 13 58 13.0 6.0
Totals4513432.519.0
STRENGTHS: Offers the power to line up in the "A gap" and take on multiple blockers, but also has the lateral quickness to stunt and loop around bodies to close on the pocket. Displays terrific effort and is a determined chaser to catch ballcarriers from behind away from the line of scrimmage.
He was nearly unblockable during one-on-one drills at the Senior Bowl due to his quickness off the whistle and powerful arms to drive blockers backward. He used a variety of hand moves to swat jabs and swim past the blocker's shoulder. Also impressed during 11-on-11 reps due to his ball awareness, and his ability to read, detach himself from the block and make plays in the backfield.
Has heavy hands and terrific initial momentum to generate movement at the point of attack, seeing through blocks to accurately track the ball. Redirects well for a man his size, collecting himself on the move to break down in small spaces.
Impressed for a 300-pounder when asked to line up at defensive end due to injuries at times in 2015.
WEAKNESSES: Needs to continue to refine his skills. Has active hands, but is still developing his pass rush moves and the placement of his punch. Often the last lineman to move off the ball and needs to improve his snap anticipation. Doesn't always rush with a plan and lacks consistent move-to-move transition. Will stand up at times and needs to play with lower pad level.
COMPARES TO: Kawann Short, DT, Carolina Panthers - Although he has the skill-set that supersedes scheme, Rankins is ideally suited as a three-technique in a four-man front, fitting a similar role as Short in Carolina.
IN OUR VIEW: Rankins is one of the better run defenders in this draft class and continues to grow as a pass rusher. He entered Senior Bowl week with first-round grades and he only helped himself there with a dominating week.

Pour New Orleans, l'approche était facile : Defense !!!

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Empty
MessageSujet: Re: Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks   Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks EmptyMar 5 Avr - 11:15

OT - Jack CONKLIN de Michigan State

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks 635858843407288988-AP-Indiana-Michigan-St-Footb-2-

OVERVIEW
In hindsight, it's difficult to comprehend that Conklin had zero scholarship offers from FBS-level colleges coming out of high school. The son of a high school football coach, Conklin had all of the tools to start with, which may have been why Michigan State came through with a preferred walk-on offer in the spring of 2012. He earned a scholarship halfway through his redshirt season, working over highly-recruited defensive ends in practice to earn their respect. Conklin started 13 of 14 games in 2013, 10 at left tackle and three on the right side, to earn multiple Freshman All-American honors. More people started taking notice of his toughness and strength in his sophomore season, as both league coaches and media named him a second-team Big Ten player at left tackle. Even though Conklin missed two games in his junior campaign with a leg injury, he garnered All-American recognition from nearly every outlet in addition to consensus first-team All-Big Ten honors for his ability to protect quarterback Connor Cook. Conklin's leadership and skills on the line during his final year in East Lansing helped the Spartans climb the Ohio State hump and capture a much-desired Big Ten Championship.

ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS Scrappy with ability to recover when beaten. Showed Oregon's DeForest Buckner what time it was by bouncing him around at the point of attack. Plays with good core strength and impressive power in his hands. When he latches into defenders framework, he makes it difficult for them to disengage. Works well with guards in combination blocks. Leveraged second level climbs and careful not to climb too high and allow linebackers to slide underneath him. Makes strong initial contact as a run blocker and rolls hips up underneath him to uproot defenders and secure his blocks. Technically sound in pass protection with a wide base and ability to mirror. Consistently shoots inside hand first and lands his punch with good accuracy. Drops anchor like a door jam in pass protection sinking his rear and getting arm extension with inside hand placement.
WEAKNESSES Not a deluxe athlete and might have issues with NFL edge speed. Has a habit of "opening the gate" too quickly in his pass sets rather than maintaining a more squared pad level for longer. Able to stuff single rush moves, but average athleticism will be tested by counters. Always looks to win on the physical front and can be a little slow to work his feet into proper position after initial contact. Hands can get a little wide and grabby once he’s in space.

SOURCES TELL US "That is a dude, right there. He was busting up Ohio State in the fourth quarter of that game not because he was more talented than those guys but because he just wanted it more. He's tougher than old beef jerky. He fits in our division." -- NFC North scout

NFL COMPARISON Jon Runyan

BOTTOM LINE Possesses top flight size and strength at the tackle position and has the technique and recovery athleticism to make up for his average foot quickness. Conklin went from solid in 2014 to very good in 2015 and teams must now decide whether or not they want to give him a chance at left tackle or plug him in on the right side where he should be able to step in right away and become a quality starter. Conklin has some physical limitations, but he's got solid technique and exactly the field demeanor that offensive line coaches will be looking for.

OG- Cody WHITEHAIR de Kansas State

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Usa-cody-whitehair-kansasstate

http://www.nfl.com/draft/2016/profiles/cody-whitehair?id=2555132

Pourquoi?

With the 16th pick of the NFL 2016 Draft, The Detroit Lions select :
CB Eli Apple (Ohio State) - 6'1 - 199lbs

2013 RS - - - -
2014 15 53 10 3 8
2015 13 33 8 1 8
Totals288618416
STRENGTHS: Tall, athletic frame with long arms and solid build. Coordinated athlete to bracket receivers downfield and consistently stay in phase. Controlled hop and footwork in his transition, using clean hip motion to mirror in man coverage.
Disruptive and uses his length to keep receivers uncomfortable. Highly aggressive at the catch point with a "my ball" mentality. Competitive and not shy to take on blocks or throw his body around as a run defender. Physical once engaged to shed blockers on the perimeter.
Improved route anticipation and field/sideline leverage while in man coverage. Tough-minded with a short memory, not allowing negative plays linger. Survivor mentality and developed strong work habits at a young age. Battle-tested with experience in man and zone coverage.
WEAKNESSES: Too hands-on downfield and lacks savvy at the top of routes. Obvious target for penalties due to undisciplined hand placement, grabbing too much cloth. Experienced in press coverage at the line of scrimmage, but needs to improve his balance and jam technique. Tends to open his hips too early and struggles to recognize routes from bail position, creating too much of a cushion and allowing too many comeback completions.
Plays too fast in pursuit, leading to overaggressive angles and missed tackles. Needs to improve his feel for the ball when back is to the line of scrimmage, struggling with timing.
IN OUR VIEW: Apple possesses several traits for the cornerback position that translate well to the next level with his size, length and athleticism. Apple isn't afraid to be physical and contest at the top of routes, but he's still learning what he can get away with and what will draw flags - desired length for the position, but NFL teams will be forced to live and die with his hands-on contact while he figures it out.
He is also an aggressive run defender, but needs to be more measured with his break down mechanics as a tackler. Apple is still very young and with that comes discipline issues, but he consistently stays in phase in press or off-man coverage and has upside.

Totals5322217.54.031
STRENGTHS: Demonstrates the blend of size, aggression, instincts and reliable open-field tackling skills to project well inside to 4-3 and 3-4 principles, alike. Takes accurate first steps and shows excellent closing burst to arrive with pop at the point of attack.
Works off blocks well with balance and anticipation, looking through blockers to keep his eyes on the prize, doing a much better job downhill rather than in reverse. Physical striker with reliable breakdown skills in the open field, wrapping, driving and finishing. Dirtiest jersey on the field and plays each snap like it is his last.
WEAKNESSES: Overaggressive pursuit angles and needs to better throttle down in space to break down at the contact point. Hyper-focused run defender and will leave his eyes in the backfield too long at times, causing him to be late in coverage. Needs to widen his vision to protect from cut blocks, pick up crossers and better recognize routes. Out-matched trying to stick with slot receivers down the field in coverage. Violent play style leads to durability questions.
IN OUR VIEW: He isn't as talented as C.J. Mosley, but he's a better NFL prospect than Trey DePriest, falling somewhere in the middle of those two former Alabama players.

cbs.sports a écrit:
STRENGTHS: Lawson's compact frame and power make him equally effective against the run and the pass, where he shows surprising initial quickness and agility as well as a terrific motor. He has quick, strong hands to create push with his upper-body strength, showing the fluid lower body to drive his legs and smoothly change directions based on his reads.
Lawson is terrific leveraging blocks off the edge, using an iron shoulder and natural body flexibility to dictate his path and beat single blocks. Does a nice job setting the edge and playing contain, working off his blocks to the outside and finishing in space.

WEAKNESSES: Lawson needs to do a better job with his recoil to reset and react to inside runs.

COMPARES TO: Pernell McPhee, Chicago Bears - Like McPhee, Lawson lacks ideal height and length, but both are well built with violent hands, ball awareness and versatility. Only one season as a starter.

IN OUR VIEW: Lawson's heavy hands allow him to stack and hold his side of the line of scrimmage. He is a power player with the lower body athleticism to be equally dominant against the run and the pass, putting his draft value in the early rounds.

With the 19th pick of the 2016 Draft, The Buffalo Bills Select

Emmanuel Ogbah - DE - Oklahoma State

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks OgbahE1403_GregBullard

6'4 - 273 Lbs

YEAR  GP TKL TFL SACK

2013  13 20 5.5 4.0
2014  13 49 17.0 11.0
2015  13 64 17.5 13.0
Totals  39 133 40.0 28.0

Player Overview
Ogbah was named an All-American, the AP's Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year and a finalist for the Ted Hendricks award after leading the conference in sacks (12.5) and tackles for loss (16.5) while setting a school record with 19 quarterback hurries as a junior. He finished his career with 28 sacks.

One of college football's breakout prospects in 2014, Ogbah earned his first start in the 2014 season opener vs. Florida State and showed right away that he was one of the best players on the field. He finished his sophomore season with 17.0 tackles for loss and 11.0 sacks, ranking among the conference leaders in both categories.

STRENGTHS: Already has the look of an NFL player with a well-proportioned build and the grown-man strength to bully blockers off the edge. A disruptive presence whether lining up on the right or left side, sporting an exciting combination of speed, length and power. A power defender who plays a physical brand of football, but also looks comfortable in space when asked to drop and cover.

WEAKNESSES: Still learning the nuances of the position. While highly thought of in the scouting community, Ogbah is battling the history of high-round picks from Oklahoma State who have failed to live up to expectations in the NFL.

COMPARES TO: Vinny Curry, Philadelphia Eagles - Ogbah is a balanced athlete with the physicality and coachable mentality that can be molded in the NFL, similar to Curry when he entered the league.

IN OUR VIEW: Ogbah is still learning the complexities of the position and lacks elite explosiveness, but he's a balanced athlete for his size and never shuts it down, exhibiting the effort needed to collapse the pocket. He will be a favorite in the building due to his work ethic and make-up.

---------

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Alucard

Strengths
Has great size at 6’7 ½, 320 pounds
Has marginal arm length for LT at 32 7/8
Good strength at the point in the run game and the ability to anchor
Good base and pad level in the run game
Good sustain ability in the run and pass game
Strong and powerful hands
Good punch
Plays well against top competition
Good lateral quickness and agility to slide and pick up blitzes
While he is not elite at everything he is very good at everything

Weaknesses
Does play high on contact in the run game a good bit
Lacks elite length for a left tackle

Red Flags

Summary
His reported arm length will be interesting to see verified at the NFL Combine as he may be described as a little bit short in length for left tackle but has the size, strength, and physical tools to be a starting left tackle in the NFL.  He is a potential top 15 pick and should be the first senior offensive tackle selected.  Expect him to be a franchise left tackle.

With the 21th pick of the NFL 2016 Draft, Washington Redskins select :

Andrew Billings - DT - Baylor

6-foot-1, 311 pounds

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks 0945676001459558062_filepicker

Billings was already a big name around Waco before he even agreed to play for the Bears, dominating on the high school football field (266 pancake blocks in his junior and senior years) and setting a state record in power-lifting with 2,010 total pounds at the state meet (805 squat, 705 dead lift, 500 on bench). Despite the high expectations, he somehow lived up to his billing. After contributing as a true freshman (two starts, 29 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss), Billings came into his own in 2014, receiving consensus first-team All-Big 12 notice with 37 tackles, 11.5 for loss. The league named him co-Defensive Player of the Year in 2015, leading Baylor with 15 tackles for loss and tying for the team lead with 5.5 sacks as he heard his name mentioned on several All-American squads. The fact he led the Bears in tackles for loss and sacks shows the athleticism and aggressive nature of his game.

Pro Day Results
40-yard dash: 4.96 seconds
Short shuttle: 4.77 seconds
3-cone: 7.77 seconds
Analysis
Strengths Elite power with a weightlifting background. Generates booming power from hip explosion and when his leverage is on point, he can be menacing. Moved from offensive line to defensive line in college and is getting better by leaps and bounds each year. Drops his pad level even lower when splitting double teams and charging through gaps. Uses violent, powerful swats and slaps to free of opposing hand placement. Instant reaction time makes it difficult to cross his face. Gets arm extension into blocker and stays clean as he pursues laterally. Ridiculous closing burst to the sideline for a big man. Dominates single blocks and is a surefire tackler when he gets hands on a running back. Improving pass rusher with an effective bull rush.
Weaknesses Top heavy. Powerful but short. Once he gets going in a direction, struggles to slow down and change directions. Recovery athleticism is average. Plays with good initial effort but an average secondary motor. Still learning techniques for the position. Raw as a pass rusher relying on power over a plan. Extremely young to play professionally. Will need positive locker room leaders to guide him as he matures.
NFL Comparison Chris Baker
Bottom Line Billings won't turn 21 until March of 2016, but he has the overwhelming strength of a full-grown NFL defensive tackle. With elite power and unusual closing speed for a big man, Billings has a chance to become something we rarely see -- a playmaking nose tackle with the ability to dominate at the point of attack. Teams will decide through research and interviews whether Billings can handle the NFL life at such a young age, but if he can, he has all-pro potential.

STRENGTHS: Coleman is an exciting playmaker with his ability as a vertical threat and catch-and-go receiver. He has quick hands to pluck the ball away from his body with the coordination and leaping ability to play above the rim, making natural adjustments on the ball.
He's an aggressive-minded competitor who needs only one step to accelerate to top speed. Great ability after the catch with elite footwork to make the first man miss before hitting the gas and accelerating to top speed in a wink.

WEAKNESSES: Coleman lacks ideal size and growth potential and will have some focus drops, especially over the middle. The biggest question mark surrounding Coleman and his next level fit is his transition from Baylor's offense to a more traditional pro-style scheme.

He wasn't asked to run a full route tree in college with almost all of his production coming on hitches, in-cuts and go patterns. As explosive as coach Art Briles' offense has been, it's not known for producing high level wideouts, which gives NFL teams pause.

COMPARES TO: Emmanuel Sanders, Broncos - Coleman plays bigger than he'll measure with the route athleticism to create separation before and after the catch.

IN OUR VIEW: The NFL has yet to see a wide receiver from Baylor coach Art Briles' system translate and produce similar numbers in the pro game, but Coleman could break that streak. He has an athletic skillset at all levels of the field. Coleman is one of the best deep threats in the country with above average tracking and adjustment skills to make tough catches look easy, playing above the rim.

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Boyd__large

ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS
Ultra-competitive. Known for powerful hands that clamp instantly onto ball and finish heavily contested catches. Has over-the-middle toughness. Plays with outstanding body control and has ability to gyrate and contort in midair in order to make acrobatic catches look easy. Brimming with confidence. Targeted 124 times or more in each of his three seasons. Able to create window through route polish. Sinks into breaks and comes out low with good turn radius when needed. Sits in space and slows routes when necessary to prevent safety from crowding him in deep middle. Has handled some kick return and punt return duties during his time at Pitt.

WEAKNESSES Relatively low touchdown production to target rate. Marginal long speed. Isn't a threat to run by corners and has to win with routes and hands. Just a possession receiver much of the year. Limited YAC potential due to lack of shake in open field and power to break tackles. Became a fumble factory on punt returns this year and ball security must be addressed. Lacks juice to be full-time kick returner. Separation windows close quickly due to average getaway quickness out of breaks. Needs to use body better to protect the catch rather than just relying on strong mitts.
SOURCES TELL US "I think he can overcome some of his speed deficiencies with good routes and he has hand strength like (Jarvis) Landry in Miami. I would take him in the second or third." -- AFC East scout

NFL COMPARISON Keenan Allen

BOTTOM LINE Pittsburgh asked Boyd to be a running back and possession receiver this season, but that doesn't define what he can be in the pros. Boyd makes up for a lack of speed with vice grips for hands and being intelligent in his routes. Boyd isn't a standalone WR1, but he can be a very productive starter in a play-action attack that allows him to play to his strengths.

Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks Empty

With the 24th Pick Overall in the 2016 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals Select :

Josh Doctson - WR TCU
6'2 - 202 Lbs
Mock Draft 2016 : Les picks V-PSVmK-

Player Overview
Doctson blossomed at flanker when TCU head coach Gary Patterson hired Sonny Cumbie and Doug Meacham as offensive coordinators prior to the 2014 season to inject life into the play-calling. Only three times in TCU's history has a player surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in a season and two belong to Doctson.

Doctson leaves Fort Worth with the most receiving yards in school history (2,785) and a single game (267).

STRENGTHS: Tall athlete with long arms and adequate muscle tone for the position. Outstanding leaping ability, body control and ball-skills to elevate with springs in his legs to out-jump defenders.

Extends with magnet hands to pluck away from his body, displaying usually terrific focus and tracking ability. Uses his body well to box out and shield defenders from the ball. Immediately looks to turn catches upfield with deceiving run toughness and a strong stiff arm. Creates spacing in his routes and finds open zones to give his quarterback a clear target.

Unselfish, dependable and hungry worker - can't find anyone who will say a negative word about him. Highly productive, leading TCU in receiving each of his three seasons with the program.

WEAKNESSES: Lean-framed and thin-boned, limiting his growth potential. Upright runner and won't break many tackles as a ballcarrier. Runs tough, but not powerful. Too soft over the middle, looking for the safety and not attacking the ball with the same vigor. Will have some focus drops, allowing footsteps to distract him at the catch point.

Not a proficient route-runner at this stage in his development. Doesn't offer any return experience on special teams. Medicals need vetted, most notably his broken left wrist (Nov. 2015), which required pins and prematurely ended his senior season.

IN OUR VIEW: All of Doctson's experience came in a spread offense that didn't ask him to run a full route tree, but he shows outstanding effort on throws in his zip code, expanding his catch radius, contorting his body and finding ways to finish catches - bailed out quarterback Trevone Boykin on a number of errant passes on film.

Doctson lacks polish in areas, but has the resilient mentality and on-field skill-set to contribute early and settle into a No. 2 receiver role, drawing similarities to Jordan Matthews when he entered the league out of Vanderbilt.

--------
